Refund and Return policy

Cedarmint Trading recognises that it can sometimes be difficult to choose the correct items online and we want to make sure customers are completely satisfied with their purchasing experience with Cedarmint Trading.  Our refunds and returns policy is as follows:

Mug, mousepad and coaster returns

Purchases of the above items, will only be refunded if they are not personalised or custom designed.  It is highly important that customers ensure that personalised items ordered have the correct spelling, as We cannot be held responsible for this.  Customers can enter a name on some of our products and it is the customers responsibility to ensure this is spelt correctly. 

Standard purchases off our website can be refunded, if a complaint/return is lodged via email:  info@cedarmint.co.za within 14 days of receiving the item.  

Upon return of the item at the customers expense, we will inspect the item and if all is order we will refund within 72 hours, into the bank details provided by the customer.  

Please note that it is the customers responsibility to ensure all product care instructions are followed.  In the event the the product is damaged due to lack of incorrect product care being adhered to, no refund will be processed. 

Clothing Returns

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have checked the sizing chart, before they purchase any clothing.  Any personalised clothing will not be returned, due to the fact that it cannot be resold. 

The goods eligible for return must be in an unworn or unused condition, in original sealed packaging including accessories and tags where applicable and in a saleable condition.

All returns or exchanges via courier will be at the customers cost.

Our Returns policy also applies to Items purchased as a gift or delivered in error.

We reserve the right to inspect the Items before we approve a refund. Inspection will take place between 24 – 48 hrs after receiving the goods.

If upon inspection it is found that the items are not defective the customer will not be entitled to a refund , repair or an exchange. You may be liable for the direct costs incurred.

The 7 day cooling of Period (ECT Act)

As part of the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act, a customer may be entitled to cancel their order without reason or penalty within 7 days of delivery. 

We reserve the right to recuperate any direct costs of returning delivering and returning the goods. For more information please contact us on 0835002405.

Refunds

In the event that a REFUND is due to a customer please note that refunds can take up to 5 days to reflect into your account. 

Please note that the refund amount will be less the courier charge.
